Do peptides need to be injected to work?
While most peptides require injection for effective results, GHK-Cu, which we use, is one of the few peptides proven to work topically. Scientific studies have shown that GHK-Cu can penetrate the skin and stimulate collagen production, elastin synthesis, and skin regeneration.
For instance, research indicates that GHK-Cu at concentrations as low as 0.01 nM (nanomolar)—an incredibly small amount, equivalent to just a few drops in an Olympic-sized swimming pool—can significantly boost collagen and elastin production in skin cells.
This demonstrates that even in small doses, when applied topically, GHK-Cu is remarkably effective, making injections unnecessary.
What’s the difference between Mythos Men and Mythos Women?
Both formulations are highly effective and share key active ingredients, such as copper peptides and niacinamide. However, the women’s cream includes an additional peptide, EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), which is known to promote skin regeneration, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and enhance overall skin elasticity.
The women’s formula also has a lighter jasmine extract scent instead of the sandalwood and frankincense found in the men’s version.
